CRPCIS endorsement

According to provisions of art1, align 1 of Government Ordinance no. 1431/2009 regarding the set up, organization and function of the Romanian Center for Trade and Investment, the Romanian Agency for Foreign Investment (ARIS) was dissolved as a result of the merge with the Romanian Center for Trade Promotion (CRPC) and thus the Romanian Center for Trade and Investment was created (CRPCIS).
CRPCIS substitutes in all rights and obligations for the Romanian Center for Trade Promotion and the Romanian Agency for Foreign Investment, deriving from: normative and administrative documents, contracts, conventions, agreements, protocols, memorandums, litigations and any other documents that produce legal effects, according to provisions of art. 1, align. 4 from the same normative act.
CRPCIS substitutes in all rights and obligations for the Romanian Center for Trade Promotion and the Romanian Agency for Foreign Investment, deriving from: normative and administrative documents, contracts, conventions, agreements, protocols, memorandums, litigations and any other documents that produce legal effects, according to provisions of art. 1, align. 4 from the same normative act.
The endorsement necessary for obtaining the long tern visa for developing commercial activities in Romania is awarded on the basis of a petition accompanied by the complete technical documentation.
The petitions for CRPCIS endorsement and the documentation are to be submitted at the Center’s headquarters in no 17 Apolodor Street, 5th district, Bucharest.
The working hours with the public are: Monday to Wednesday from 9:30 to 12:30.
Useful information
- The issuing of CRPCIS endorsement is free of charge;
- The endorsement is to be issued in maximum 30 days;
- Visa applications submitted to the Romanian diplomatic missions or consulates will be subject to the approval of the Romanian Immigration Office, where they will be sent by agency of the General Directorate for Consular Relations within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and will be accompanied by the following documentation:
a. CRPCIS endorsement
b. criminal record certificate or another document with the same legal value
c. medical insurance for the visa validity period.
